The Finals - Article #1

13th January 2023,

            The Finals are one of the toughest things students had to go through, especially for the seniors who are about to graduate.  Finals are usually the hardest examination throughout the year. 

                      I still remember back when I was a freshman, the examination would be as easy as “pi”. Most people would  hope to pass the exam as it’s the minimum that is expected, but over here, I on the other hand not only hope to pass but also to ace all my tests.



                      So there I was, feeling high and ready for my exam results, while saying goodbye to my old school and saying hello to thoughts of my new middle school.


                      After this, I will miss my friends and teachers as they have helped me through some tough times. It’s soon going to be my teenage period,  and I must learn to handle growing pains.  I am eager, curious and a little bit afraid of what this stage will bring. Teacher Michael tells me to be strong and brave as fortune favours the bold.  I trust him and I believe he is right. I will make ready ti do my best and enjoy or endure all that comes.

This month we bid farewell to our Anna. she leaves us as she begins to enter the International School system starting in the fall. We have had her since she was just a wee toddler and now 4 years have gone by. She stole our hearts just as sure her older brother. Both of them showed and started at Taska Damansara Utama as wee toddlers. Thet joined the  Elite Kids  Kinderhgarten program at PjKK Learning Steps Academy and the rest was history. She speaks Bahasa and Mandarin like a native as well as Malaysian Engrush haha.   We will never get enough of her  and her brother.  They have won their way unto our hearts forever.   The parents are both great teachers as well and have raised outstanding lovely children. The USS Learning finally sails into Damansara Utama !

 Our new sails are here and we are super excited!  These sails will allow.play time in  the mornings and even in the noon hours which can be challenging. Sleepy Baby? When and how much sleep? You need to know this parents. Hear us out.

  Often times,     we get this same ole question.     it’s one of those questions that I believe most parents already know the answer to, but they are almost afraid to confirm it as it involves some feelings of guilt haha.   That question is….. How many hours should their kid or kids sleep and what time should the littles get to bed. They are almost always sheepish when they bring up this subject and I think we all know why.  My answer here may differ from many Internet articles but it is entirely based on my observation of our kids at the daycare. The amount of sleep your child needs is a simple question actually. The recommended hours are between 10 to 12 hours a night.    But the reasons why the parents are asking are never simple. Sometimes it is even heartbreaking.  Some parents work strange hours, other parents work very late hours and this translates to them not having much time with their kids.
