Why is my kid sick all the time? How is it that he/she gets the cold so often when before they were healthy isolated at home!





Why is my kid always sick???   Why is my kid infected so often js your school filthy.!?!  We hear this from time to time and often with new first time parents. There, there …..take a breathe. Its very normal. Here is why…..

For the first timers, either to daycare, kindergarten, preschool or primary school… your kids are gonna get sick. Like a lot.  The immune system will be tested and  eventually over time a healthier stronger child will emerge.  

It can take up to a year and during that year you can expect frequent colds, tummy aches, runs and etc.  Even a few pabic visits to the ER. But at the other end of it , will emerge a child who can mingle and mix with the best of them.

The same is said of the adult teachers who first start teaching and get ill throughout the first year. 

There are things you can do to help prep your kid for the storm to come. Teach good hygiene habits, masks and hand washing before n after meals. Good  n healthy nutrition.  Stress management and sporadic playground , play school visits. 

Isolating at home only delays the eventual exposure that surely must come.  We all hate our littles getting sick, but this needs to happen so our kids can join the world and begin their social

When my kid started swim lessons, every swim class led to a 3-5 day cold every week , after every class, the cold started.   A year later, she now no longer gets the flu after swim lessons,  but if she drinks a vitagen….the flu starts lol. So after a few months , vitagens also stopped creating the flu.

This month we bid farewell to our Anna. she leaves us as she begins to enter the International School system starting in the fall. We have had her since she was just a wee toddler and now 4 years have gone by. She stole our hearts just as sure her older brother. The USS Learning finally sails into Damansara Utama !

 Our new sails are here and we are super excited!  These sails will allow.play time in  the mornings and even in the noon hours which can be challenging. Sleepy Baby? When and how much sleep? You need to know this parents. Hear us out.

  Often times,     we get this same ole question.     it’s one of those questions that I believe most parents already know the answer to, but they are almost afraid to confirm it as it involves some feelings of guilt haha.   That question is….. How many hours should their kid or kids sleep and what time should the littles get to bed. They are almost always sheepish when they bring up this subject and I think we all know why.  My answer here may differ from many Internet articles but it is entirely based on my observation of our kids at the daycare.
